My mom came just 2 days after Carolyn left. She had a nice long stay with us, and in the middle of her time here, my dad came to visit as well. During mom's visit, I got practice in learning how to run errands with a baby. What a life change that has been! Mom also spent much time loving on Alaka'i and allowed me time to nap during the day. And she also painted the 2 dressers in A's room. They look wonderful and I am so grateful that she took the time on her last 2 days to take on that project. My mom absolutely adores babies, so it was fun to be able to "give" her one to cover in kisses. Thank God that He has blessed with this gift, and allowed my mom to continue enjoying Grandma-hood. We love and miss you, Grandma, and hope to see you in the Midwest this fall.
