Alaka'i and I are back visiting my family, while Jacob finishes the hardwood floors in the house. We miss him SO much! But while we're away, we're doing our best to enjoy some beautiful fall colors and lots of time with my family!
This is where I grew up. And it took until we bought our first house one year ago for me to realize that THIS is my standard. As Jacob and I have been working this past year to consider plants, yard and details inside our house, I have found myself constantly preferring those things that remind me of this place. I love this sweet house. I love all its charming details and I love all the hard work my parents have put into it over the past twenty-some years. And of course, most importantly, I love what's inside of it!
