Before and After

We have lived in our house not quite one year now.  And in that time, God has allowed Jacob to make some fantastically wonderful improvements to our sweet little place.  The changes we have seen are too numerous to cover on this blog, but here are some of the more recent updates that we have been especially enjoying.  Jacob really has learned to do just about anything - plumbing, electrical, demo, construction, flooring, and now, finish carpentry!  I am so proud of my talented and diligent husband.  God has given us much through Jacob's skills and commitment to hard work.  

We took out a wall, just to the right.  You can see the remaining "line" in the flooring.  Jacob had to remove the gas pipe coming up from below the house, as well as the wall itself.  The post had to be re-inforced, and the plaster walls removed, and drywall was added on the ceiling to cover in the duct work... 

Voila!
