Time with my Sweetie

Jacob and I have been spending more time in the kitchen together, which has been a lot of fun.   Mostly, we bake, and then usually consume whatever we've baked in a fairly short timespan.  A few weeks ago, we made an apple pie for Thanksgiving, to bring to a friend's house.
You cannot waste precious dough scraps.  So he sprinkled them with walnuts, cinnamon and sugar, rolled them into crescents and then we snacked on them (all) before we left to our friend's house.  Admittedly, although we did bake them, I also ate quite a few raw : )

Before precious oven time.

In the meantime, Alaka'i worked on his Christmas shopping.

This was a winner!

The dough scraps would have been my choice! Tell Alaka'i I could use some new slippers :)
Love the pics.

The pie looks amazing! Reminds me of the Clementine apple pies! Yummy!
