The night we arrived in WI, they had a small amount of snow, but enough for Alaka'i to play and eat and be pulled in the sled the next morning.
Daddy's handling the bundle-up.
Auntie Bit with the two cousins. One's tucked in her black jacket.
The snowbunny cousins.
Here is his first mouth-full of snow. Daddy gave it to him and he wasn't really a fan.
He spent a lot of time like this, but not on purpose.
This is the park I played as a kid, just through my parent's neighborhood. Alaka'i saw the river, which was frozen-over in some parts and said, "git in water. git in water."
Um, no. This is not Kauai.
We were the only ones on the swings in the park.
It's not quite so novel to play outside when you live in the tundra.
Here are the falls of Menomonee Falls, my hometown.
Again, Alaka'i quickly said "get in water".
