What else we do on Kauai

We have wonderful family on Kauai and we spent a lot of time together during our vacation.
Here are a few other things we did besides hit the beaches:

Aden and Uncle Jakey baking together.

This is just thrown in for you, Pop Pop!

There aren't really any places on the North Shore of Kauai to get good donuts, so Daniel and Jacob made some!

Ryan, Auntie Sally and Daniel all celebrated December birthdays.  We enjoyed lots of mud pie.

Alaka'i got to know his "tutu" and "boppa" very well.
("Tutu" means "Grandma" in Hawaiian, and Alaka'i couldn't say anything close to the English word.  "Boppa" is Alaka'i's version of Grandpa."

Aden really wanted to make waffles, and Uncle Jakey was willing to help him out.

We had banana macadamia nut pancakes at Tip Top before we headed back to the Mainland.  Alaka'i is missing you, Boppa!

Goofing around with Tutu at the airport.

We even got a family portrait in the backyard!  There is a better one with Alaka'i, but I'm tired and this was good enough : )
