The blog hasn't been on my mind much lately, but we are all doing just fine and backyard projects are in full swing. Alaka'i is talking a lot now and we're looking forward to getting to know him better as his vocabulary expands with each day.

And yesterday, he and Jacob went to an awesome, free park just 15 minutes away from here, called Travel Town. He is at the age where he just loves trains, so they had a great time.
This video doesn't quite capture the extent of his glee whilst chasing the chickels, but I think the general idea comes through.
